The Beaupre Artists’ Guild is a group of artists who meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 11am - 5pm at the Beaupre Community Hall to create art together.
The group was started in 1996 by Mary Lou Brooks; a dedicated member of the community and a passionate local artist. Initially Mary Lou taught a small group of community members, primarily in watercolour medium. There is no longer any formal teaching, but knowledge and techniques are shared among members of the group.
The emphasis of the Beaupre Artists' Guild is on creating art and having fun while doing it. A lot of laughter is enjoyed along with important supports like chocolate and the occasional cake.
Local residents can call MaryLou at 403-932-5709 to inquire about BAGs membership or drop in at the hall on a Tuesday to chat. Email: [email protected]
Our next Art Show and Sale will be held at the Beaupre Hall ...... hopefully in June 2025. Stay tuned.
